Dr. Bowers is a Cedar Rapids native and graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors at Western State College of Colorado in Professional Biology: Pre-Med emphasis and a minor in Chemistry and received his A.A. from Kirkwood Community College.
He is a past District President and Compliance Committee Chair of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), and a member of The American Chiropractic Association. He is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (C.C.E.P) and utilizes this in conjunction with active care and other aspects of a solid rehabilitative program.
Dr. Bowers uses techniques such as The Palmer Package which includes: Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, and Activator. He specializes in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. He has served on the Board of Directors with His Hands-Free Medical Clinic and Healing Our Heroes. Additionally, he has served as the Team Chiropractor for The Cedar Rapids Titans, Cedar Rapids Rampage, and Hard Drive MMA (Mixed Martial Arts).
